What things make you feel awkward as you try to walk closer to God:
- Is it raising hands in praise?
- Is it praying in public?
- Is it praying with your own family?
- Is it having to give a “testimonial”?
- Is it reading or reciting scripture or responses in unison?
- Is it singing hymns or worship songs?
- Is it feeling like to have to remember all these words, motions, and doctrine to be a “Good Christian”?
Watch, listen, or read what makes others uncomfortable and how they deal with it. And learn to understand that every walk with God is individually unique and personal. That it is more about THAT you walk with God and not HOW you walk with God.
